1. Who We Are
Bridge IN ("Bridge IN", "we", "us", "our") is a talent marketplace operated by Bridge Talent Solution, based in Beirut, Lebanon, that connects job candidates with recruiters and employers in the Middle East. Bridge IN is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy.
This Policy applies to both candidates and recruiters who use the Bridge IN mobile app and related web pages (together, the "Platform"). It explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have.
We process personal data in accordance with applicable Lebanese law, including Law No. 81/2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data.
2. The Data We Collect
2.1 All users (account and login)
- Phone number — used for passwordless sign-in and as a contact detail. Bridge IN uses phone number + one-time code (OTP) authentication; there are no passwords.
- Email address — collected at sign-up.
- Role — whether you use the Platform as a candidate or a recruiter.
- Notification / push token — a device token used to deliver push notifications, and your notification preference (on/off).
2.2 Candidates (profile data)
When you build a candidate profile, we collect the information you provide, which may include:
- full name;
- phone number and email address;
- LinkedIn URL;
- profile photo;
- an uploaded CV document (which may itself contain personal data such as employment history and other details you choose to include);
- education details — degrees, institutions, and start/graduation dates;
- technical skills;
- fields of interest; and
- location.
Some of this content — particularly the free-form contents of your CV — may reveal additional personal information. Please include only what you are comfortable sharing with recruiters and employers.
2.3 Recruiters (account data)
When you register as a recruiter, we collect:
- company name;
- phone number and email address; and
- activity generated on the Platform, such as bookmarked candidates and saved search filters.
2.4 Data generated by use of the Platform
As you use the Platform, we may collect technical and usage data such as app activity, device and app version information, and log data used to operate, secure, and improve the service.
3. How We Collect Data
- Provided by you — when you register, build a profile, upload a CV or photo, save searches, or contact us.
- Generated by your use of the Platform — activity and technical/log data.
- From your device — a push notification token, if you enable notifications.
4. Why We Use Your Data and Our Legal Basis
We use personal data for the purposes below. Depending on the context, our legal bases under Law No. 81/2018 and general data-protection principles include your consent, our legitimate interests in operating a recruitment marketplace, the performance of our service to you, and compliance with legal obligations.
- Account creation and login — verifying your phone number via one-time code and maintaining your account. Legal basis: service delivery; legitimate interest.
- Matching and recruiter discovery — making subscribed candidate profiles discoverable to recruiters, and running searches and saved filters. Legal basis: consent; service delivery; legitimate interest.
- Notifications — sending push notifications (for example, a new candidate matches a saved search, or a subscription is about to expire) and login codes. Legal basis: consent (push); service delivery (login codes).
- Payments follow-up — processing and confirming candidate subscription payments, and handling refund requests. Legal basis: service delivery; legal obligation.
- Security and integrity — preventing fraud and misuse, and securing the Platform. Legal basis: legitimate interest; legal obligation.
- Analytics and service improvement — understanding usage to maintain and improve the Platform. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Legal compliance — meeting our obligations and responding to lawful requests. Legal basis: legal obligation.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time (see Section 8).
5. Sharing Your Data
5.1 With recruiters and employers (core purpose)
The central function of Bridge IN is to make subscribed candidates discoverable to recruiters and employers. When a candidate has an active subscription, that candidate's profile, CV, and contact details (including phone number and email) are shared with and visible to recruiters and employers on the Platform for recruitment purposes, with the candidate's consent. Candidates without an active subscription are hidden from recruiter search and browsing, and their details are not shared in this way.
Once a candidate's details are shared with a recruiter or employer, that third party acts as an independent controller of the data it receives, and Bridge IN cannot control its subsequent use. Recruiters agree to terms restricting them to legitimate recruitment use only.
5.2 With service providers (sub-processors)
We use trusted third parties to operate the Platform. They process personal data only on our instructions and for the purposes below:
- Whish Pay — payment processing for candidate subscriptions. Payments are completed on the Bridge IN web app opened in your phone's browser; Whish Pay handles the payment transaction.
- Firebase / Google — push notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging) and supporting app infrastructure.
- OTP messaging provider (for example, Twilio) — delivery of one-time login codes and service messages via WhatsApp/SMS.
- Cloud hosting located in the European Union (servers in Germany) — hosting and storage of Platform data.
- External careers portal — a third-party site we link to for browsing job openings. This is a separate service with its own privacy policy; if you visit it and apply there, you interact with that third party directly.
5.3 For legal reasons
We may disclose data where required by law, to comply with legal process, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Bridge IN, our users, or the public.
6. International Data Transfers
Because our cloud hosting is located in the European Union (Germany), and some of our service providers operate internationally, your personal data may be processed or stored outside Lebanon. Where data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account (see Section 8), we remove your account and profile and remove your uploaded CV and profile photo from the Platform. We may retain limited information for longer where we are legally required or permitted to do so — for example, records relating to payments, or to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retained data is kept only for as long as necessary for those purposes.
8. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data — candidates can edit their profile, CV, and photo directly in the app;
- Delete your data — you can delete your account at any time from within the app using the "Delete Account" option in Settings, which deletes your account and profile and removes your uploaded CV and photo (subject to the legal retention noted in Section 7);
- Object to or restrict certain processing; and
- Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent — for example, by turning off notifications in your device settings or the in-app toggle, by ending your subscription so your profile is no longer visible to recruiters, or by deleting your account.
To exercise any of these rights, use the in-app options where available, or contact us using the details in Section 12. We may need to verify your identity (for example, via your registered phone number) before acting on a request. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may also contact the competent authority in Lebanon.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:
- encryption in transit using HTTPS/TLS;
- passwordless phone + one-time-code (OTP) authentication, which avoids stored passwords; and
- access controls limiting who can access personal data.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Because sign-in relies on your phone number, please keep control of your phone and device and do not share the one-time codes we send you.
10. Children
The Platform is not directed to children under 16, and users must be of legal working age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date and, where appropriate, notify you through the Platform. Please review this Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
12. Contact Us

13. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Lebanon, including Law No. 81/2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data. Any dispute relating to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Lebanon.
